Yes. Black HDPE pipe is not currently suitable for laser profiling, as it absorbs the laser light. Reflective materials (PVC, GRP) or wet surfaces can cause laser bloom, and sudden shape changes can show as bulges in reports. Discuss pipe colour and material with SECA before the job.
